Music Video Workshop

$575.00

Monday–Friday July 6–10
9:00 AM–3:00 PM

For kids entering grades 6, 7, 8

In this fast-paced, hands-on summer camp, students learn how to create a real music video from concept to final cut—all in just one week.

Working in small production teams, students will brainstorm creative ideas, develop a visual style, plan shots, and film dynamic scenes with using professional cameras and filmmaking equipment.

Throughout the week, campers explore the unique storytelling techniques used in music videos, including visual rhythm, performance filming, and creative camera movement.

They’ll take on real production roles—director, camera operator, performer, and editor—while collaborating to bring a song to life on screen.

By Friday, the group will premiere their completed music video, celebrating a week of creativity, teamwork, and filmmaking. It’s an exciting, immersive experience that gives students a taste of real-world film production while having a lot of fun along the way.

Students will also collaborate with a local music group or artist, bringing an authentic creative partnership into the filmmaking process.
